Sweet Miracles 4 Kids
Hello, my name is Alissa and I would like to share with you my story and the heart behind Sweet Miracles. For the last 16 years, I have spent my life as a single mother and enjoyed every minute of it. Thirteen years ago, I decided to open up a child care business, and I have been doing it ever since. Although I absolutely love what I do, I know that I have been called to something different now. My children are grown and my heart yearns to serve the orphans of the world. I have waited seven years for the Lord to open doors and He has. This is how Sweet Miracles came to life!
All of the proceeds from Sweet Miracles go directly to supporting mission travels and the orphans around the world. When praying about how I was to make this calling come to life, I was urged to use my gifts. So that is exactly what I am doing. Sweet Miracles offers my hand made chocolate and treats. The support has been amazing! I can not wait to fulfill the calling that has been put on my heart.
In 2011, I was blessed to be able to travel to the Philippines and visit a couple of different orphanages. It gave me a realistic view to the enormous need these orphans have. There are many factors that contribute to the current condition of abused and abandoned children, and it is beyond heart breaking. I made some amazing connections while there and see that there are great possibilites for me in the future. I am still praying what the Lord has for me, but for now, it is here working the candy factory. Lord willing I will be making another trip there this summer.
Thank you so much for supporting Sweet Miracles.
God Bless!
