Look at that smile! For now she is safe, but the truth is that there are over 800,000 women working as prostitutes in the Philippines. Over half of them are believed to be under age. One would think that this angel could at least count on the police and legal authorities to protect her, but this is not so. Government officials and the police are often involved in trafficking operations within the country, protect such activities, and demand bribes from traffickers and pimps. Please pray for her :)
