We are not all called to adopt, but there are some practical ways that you can serve the orphans. Here are a few:
- Pray for orphans on a regular basis
- Give clothing and food to orphans
- Offer personal hands-on assistance to orphanages and social workers
- Financially support an orphanage
- Become a foster parent
- Organize and lead a church outreach visit to orphanages
- Work for an agency that cares for orphans
- Become an active member of a group that supports orphan care
- Participate in a medical outreach to an orphanage
- Teach about adoption in churches and Sunday school, on radio and T.V.
- Conduct adoption forums
- Help families that you know to raise funds to pay adoption expenses
- Start an Adoption Ministry in your church to help many families adopt.
